Privacy Policy

GMAIL_ADIL_MCP · Last updated 13 September 2026

GMAIL_ADIL_MCP ("the app") is a personal tool used only by its owner to access the owner's own Gmail accounts from their own computer. This policy explains what Google user data the app accesses and what it does with it.

Data the app accesses

With the owner's permission, granted through Google sign-in, the app uses the Gmail API scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.modify. This allows it to read and search messages and threads, download attachments, create and send drafts and messages, manage labels, and archive or move mail to Trash. It also reads the account's email address to identify which account was connected.

How the data is used

Data is used only to carry out actions the owner asks for, such as finding an email, summarising a thread or drafting a reply. It is not used for advertising, profiling, analytics or training of AI models.

Where the data is stored

The app runs entirely on the owner's computer and talks directly to Google's servers. It has no server or database of its own. The only data it stores is the OAuth sign-in tokens for each connected account, kept in a private folder on the owner's computer. Attachments are saved only when the owner asks, to that computer's Downloads folder.

Sharing

The app does not sell, rent, transfer or share Google user data with anyone. Email content the owner chooses to work on is shown to the AI assistant the owner runs, at the owner's direction.

Google API Services User Data Policy

The app's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Removing access

Access can be revoked at any time from myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting the local token folder removes all stored tokens.
